About The New England Home Brief

Written for people who own homes in New England, who want to, or who love the region from afar.

The New England Home Brief is a Saturday morning newsletter covering the housing market, towns, and homes of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

Every Saturday at 7am, five minutes over coffee: where mortgage rates went and what they mean, what's happening across the six states, and one substantive feature — a town spotlight, an architect or builder profile, a regulatory explainer, a market deep-dive. We cover the practical side of owning a home here (Mass Save rebates, fighting your assessment, refi math) and the part that's harder to put numbers on — why a Federal on High Street in Newburyport, or a triple-decker in Somerville, or a saltbox on the Maine coast actually means something. Smart, opinionated, useful, with respect for the place.

The Brief is written by a New England real estate professional with a decade of industry experience, currently working in capital markets, publishing independently under a pen name. The newsletter has no firm affiliation; all data and reporting are drawn from public sources.

For sponsors. The New England Home Brief reaches an affluent, engaged audience of New England homeowners, prospective buyers, and people who love the region — a demographic that's otherwise expensive to reach through traditional media. We accept two sponsor slots per issue. To inquire: sponsors@newenglandhomebrief.com.
